RECOVERY THROUGH PHOTOS

 STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so I am using this page to document some of my recovery through the use of photos.

While I was hospitalized, many of my friends took photos of me; I’m still not exactly sure why.

Being that it was touch and go for a while,  I can only guess that they wanted something to ‘remember’ me by. I definitely wouldn’t want to be remembered comatose in a neuro-ICU,  intubated, and unable to recognize my circumstances.

Thankfully, I made it through and have been recovering, though it’s been a long, hard road. I’m posting pictures from before the bleed, and then everything else will be from the hospital on.  I hope that the positive strides in my recovery will give anyone who needs it the motivation to continue moving forward, getting better, and doing what needs to be done to get as well as can be.

I’ll continue posting pictures as I have them taken. O.o It’ll be interesting since I love taking photos, just not of myself. 🙂 Gosh, the things I do…
