There’s been a lot going on over the past few weeks. I started Physical Therapy last week and it’s kicking my butt! 🙂 We’re focusing on balance and gait right now and some of the exercises are harder than I remember, but I’m celebrating the fact that I have a great therapist and therapist assistant.

My neurologist has taken me completely off the Keppra as of this past Wednesday. One down, three to go!!

I treated myself to a pair of Fila running sneakers and a pair of shoes. Walking in the sneakers was awkward at first because I kept feeling like I was going to fall forward because of the little dip in the front. All my sneakers have been flat for the past five and a half years. 😀 No doubt I’ll go from shuffling to hustling in no time.

Vivi and I started a ten-day juice diet a few weeks ago and have been trying to change our eating habits. I’ve lost almost ten pounds in the past three weeks.

As always,  I’m STILL ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE GRASS!! Woot, woot!

What have you celebrated this week?

Awesome achievements! Congrats on getting off Keppra! I love the feel of new shoes. Tomorrow, I’m going to attend a Bunco party with some ladies in my neighborhood so I’m looking forward to it.

Hope those new shoes help you. Sounds like you are doing great with the therapy too. I like to juice, it makes me feel good inside.

What great things to celebrate! The PT may be hard, but I’m glad you like your therapists. Yay for fewer meds and for new shoes. I bet you’ll be busting-a-move in no time! Good luck with the juice diet. It sounds very healthy. 🙂
