Even though I found myself sleeping a lot for the first few days after the increase in my Depakote, I managed (as I usually do) to find a few things to celebrate this week.

  1. The weather the past two days have been glorious. The snow is mostly melted and it feels like Spring. When the weather is this nice, my pain levels are reduced. I’m thrilled about that.
  2. Vivi’s family and I went to a Puerto Rican spot on Saturday to celebrate her hubby’s birthday. The food was amazing.
  3. I spoke to a friend that I haven’t seen in years and when I head to NJ next, we’re planning to meet up. Super stoked.

Best of all, I’m STILL ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE GRASS!! Can I get a woohoo!! 🙂

What have you celebrated this week?

About My Miracle Life

I'm a writer, blogger, avid reader, book reviewer, sub-arachnoid hemorrhage and stroke survivor, moving forward in my recovery and trying to advocate for stroke and brain hemorrhage awareness and prevention. I'm also slowly working towards independence, driving, my first novel, a memoir and a series of short stories. I've been lucky to have a very small network of close friends to guide me; I've been even luckier to have found an online 'family' of sorts to help me through the rough times.

I’m so glad to hear the weather is helping your pain levels. I never had Puerto Rican food, but I love Mexican, so if it’s anything like that — yum! Enjoy your time with your NJ friend, and I hope the weather stays spring-like for you!

  6. Woo Hoo! Still on the right side. 🙂

The weather was beautiful. I was sick and wasted all that sunshine lying on the couch. But I’m on the right side of the grass too!
